![]() "One of the things that the Doctors were concerned with was that I would loose mobility in my wrist from an accident I had. The things that we do in IMPACT help to keep my wrist mobile and loose."
Marty Shipe
"I had bumped my shoulder pretty good in a fall from this past winter. I couldn't raise my arm above my shoulder. Now between the massage therapy at Quail Summit and the IMPACT classes I have more comfort and movement in my shoulder than I've had since my accident. The convenience of having the classes and massage therapy in house is a huge relief. Now I don't have to worry about going out in the bad weather...that's what got my shoulder into a mess in the first place."
Jillian Harter
"After class my body feels much better. Even the next day, I've felt better than I have in quite some time. I've reduced my pain medication, and have completely eliminated my cortisone shot. My doctor is pleased, and told me to keep it up."

“My wife and I moved to Quail Summit Nov. 1, 2008. Vera, my wife, had some heart problems and we decided it would be best to make life easier for her. We visited other places, but soon agreed that Quail Summit was for us. Through the next few months Vera’s condition worsened and unfortunately she passed away in June of 2010;
We had a memorial service at Quail Summit. The director and his staff have been most helpful, as have many of the residents. I was glad we had chosen Quail Summit for our home.
Our accommodations here have been most satisfactory. I would recommend Quail Summit to anyone without reservation.”

“Staff does an excellent job all around however in an emergency they go above and beyond and are very efficient. I needed assistance twice and needed to use my PET (Personal Emergency Transmitter) and within two minutes each time someone was there to help me. Everyone is very friendly. I feel like it’s a big family here and the facility is very family oriented. Being a former EMT, what impresses me the most are the stairwells, they are well lit, wide with railings, and they have call buttons. They are as safe as a stairwell could be. I also really like the painting they have done.”

“I give management a lot of credit because it takes a lot to run a facility like this and to try to please everyone and they do a great job.
Alisa was helping out in the dining room one day and she asked why I wasn’t eating a particular thing on my plate and I told her that I just couldn’t eat it. She made a special trip to the kitchen and came back with a beautiful bowl of cottage cheese with peaches in it and she had placed strawberries around the rim of the bowl. It was so thoughtful of her.
The location is very peaceful and the walking trail is a great thing to have for both residents and their visitors. The activities are great and it’s nice how they call and remind us of certain events. The church runs on Sunday are great for those of us who can’t drive.”

On Monday, March 2, 2009, our lives changed more than I thought. Mom agreed to go to Quail Summit as a resident in the Assisted Living Unit …The Harbor. I needed her to be safe, especially since I was caring for my husband. Everyone at Quail Summit made my mother's transition extremely pleasant. On that same day later that evening, my husband, John pass away.
I was able to get through this tough time with the help of the employees of Quail Summit. I knew my Mom was getting excellent care and yet she was able to be fairly independent. They kept in touch with me while I was out of state for 2 weeks and continue to communicate with me and my brother who is in Arizona.
Quail Summit has a feeling of family and caring. There is always someone there to help you and your family member. As always, thanks for all your help and understanding.”
